A Hill to Die On
This is the chalk presentation I did in Ohio at the Amish Awareness Conference in March 2018. In this presentation I share several stories of how God worked in my life to prepare me for making the film series as well as things that God taught me during the making of this series. Just wanted to say thanks for doing the the DVD series on the Amish. I so appreciated seeing the precious love & kindness in you and Stacy. It was so encouraging!
Even though I didn’t grow up Amish I was raised plain. My Dad was Amish but never was a member. He grew up in the Kokomo, Ind & Arthur, Ill areas.
I appreciated the kind but very truthful way you presented the Amish. There were so many encouragements for me as well.
I am no longer plain but do have a burden for “my people” to see Who God really is.
I also really appreciated the chalk talk. I too use to be so judgemental. Looking back on it I feel I was one of the worst. I so love how God has gently taken me down the road of His mercy & grace.
Again thanks for allowing God to use you to minister in this way! Praying that many others will be encouraged & many come to know God!
